Complimentary On-Demand Webinar: Achieving Real-Time Multi-INT Data Fusion for Geospatial Intelligence Applications
Learn how Objectivity/DB® facilitates
the development of:
Applications that can fuse, correlate and analyze data from
multiple sources (from real-time feeds to legacy silos) and
then display them in one common view
Applications that more easily share and disseminate information
by allowing all platforms to collect and exchange information
Applications that increase the speed and probability of detecting
and identifying anomalies by better synchronizing sensors in
real time
Application frameworks that allow end-user organizations
to access disparate legacy data and build complex model driven
applications

Event Title: Achieving Real-Time Multi-INT Data Fusion for Geospatial
Intelligence Applications
There is a groundswell movement in today's
defense operations toward advanced systems and software that address
the need for enhanced real-time situational awareness in
command, control, communications and intelligence applications
(C4ISTAR).
The power of Objectivity/DB® allows software
innovators working on electronic warfare, weapons guidance, and
other applications an unprecedented ability to create applications
that collect, fuse and process Multi-INT data. Moreover, this data
can be correlated and distributed quickly to provide the most precise
monitoring and data isolation attributes for users who depend on
optimized visualization and alerts of impending activity in critical
real-time environments. Software driven by Objectivity/DB® creates
essential foreknowledge that can be transferred to multiple actors
for a coordinated response.
Join Alan Steinberg, the industry's foremost expert on data
fusion, Ray Ivie, L-3's strategic development
vice president and Brian Clark, Objectivity's technical services
vice president, for "Achieving Real-Time Multi-INT
Data Fusion for Geospatial Intelligence Applications". This
complimentary Webinar will focus on the challenges surrounding
the collection, aggregation and dissemination of Multi-INT
data.
The Presenters:
Alan Steinberg Independent Consultant
Bethesda, MD
Alan Steinberg is an internationally recognized
expert in sensor data fusion and in system development, test
and evaluation. He has over 30 years' experience in program
management and engineering of major weapons, sensors, electronic
combat, targeting and ISR systems for numerous agencies within
the U.S. Department of Defense and national intelligence
organizations.
As Senior Engineering Program Manager for
Lockheed and Litton, Alan performed system engineering for
numerous tactical avionics systems, that include: EA-6B,
EF-111A, ICNIA/INEWS, E-2C, S-3A/E-P3 TASES, A-12, F-14 AN/ALR-67,
RF-4E TEREC, LHX, F-15 RFIS and AWACS. Additionally, Alan
performed concept development, design, oversight and evaluation
in numerous National Systems, as well as developed advanced
ISR architectures, exploitation techniques and algorithms
for multi-Intelligence exploitation.
Alan is the 2003 recipient of the Mignona Award for outstanding
achievement in data fusion, and a member of the JDL Data Fusion
Group. As a recognized thought leader, Alan has given seminars
and tutorials in Data and Information Fusion, Image Fusion
and related topics in many parts of the world.
Raymond (Ray) C. Ivie
Vice President, Strategic Development,
L-3 Communications
Mr. Ivie is the vice president for strategic development
at L-3 Communications, ComCept Division in Rockwall, Texas.
He previously served as the director for strategic development
of naval programs at ComCept. While at ComCept, Mr. Ivie
designed the architecture that led to the integration of
the Air Force’s Network Centric Collaborative Targeting
and the Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability, which
were demonstrated during the Navy’s Trident Warrior
exercise in late 2005. Furthermore, he developed an architectural
vision for sensor networking, which is rapidly being accepted
as the foundation of DoD’s sensor networking standard.
A retired Navy Captain, he served more than 22 years in carrier
aviation, Battle Group and Joint staff as well as in congressional
staff and liaison positions. In his role as vice president
for strategic development at L-3 ComCept, he is responsible
for business strategy and development, research and development,
and legislative affairs for the ComCept division. Mr. Ivie
earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial distribution from
Texas A&M University in 1981. He is also a graduate of
the US Naval War College, Armed Forces Staff College and
the Georgetown University Congressional Fellowship program.
Brian Clark
Vice President, Technical Services,
Objectivity
Mr. Clark is responsible for all systems engineering
professional services for Objectivity's customer base and
has more than 25 years of software industry experience.
Before joining Objectivity in 1989, Mr. Clark worked at
Automation Technology Products, which provides leading
tools in the MCAD market. Previously he was with project
management services at International Computers Limited,
one of Europe's leading computer companies at the time.
Mr. Clark holds a bachelor's in computer science from Sheffield
University, England.
What People Are Saying:
"By efficiently netting
and synchronizing sensors in real time and combining detections,
it is possible to increase the probability of detecting
and identifying a target, while also reducing the time
it takes to accurately locate targets by more than 90%.
This refined information updates a common, shared-network
Objectivity database so that the problem of multiple reports
on a single target is dramatically reduced."
Gary Davis
Director of the NCCT Program
L-3 ComCept
"Objectivity provides
our customers a unique ability to access and manage massive
amounts of data through an object database that is highly
scalable, very interoperable, and widely distributable.
By partnering with technology market leaders like Objectivity,
Hawk is able to ensure a favorable return on investment
for our DoD customers to meet or exceed their mission needs."
Wendi Hawk
CEO
Hawk Technical Solutions, LLC
"We selected Objectivity
to present at our inaugural National Visualization and
Analytics Center (NVAC) Consortium meeting because of their
sophisticated data management experience in the critical
areas of Government Security, Intelligence and Scientific
applications."
