Objectivity Assist (Eclipse Integrated Development Environment Framework)

Objectivity Assist is a specialized tool for database application development, administration and browsing based on the Open Source Eclipse framework. It has plug-ins for C++ and Java developers and for database administrators. Developers can add their own plug-ins and Objectivity encourages customers and partners to develop and share their own plug-ins.

Assist can interface interactively with Active Schema, making schema and object migration much easier than ever before. It has plug-ins for designing and evolving schemas and for viewing and migrating objects.

Assist also has plug-ins for browsing the federated database, databases, containers, objects, associations and other constructs. And it can be used for editing objects and moving databases.
