Objectivity/DB + Java = Performance

Objectivity/DB was among the first to adopt Java standards in the development of our object database management solution. We have developed an extension to the Java language that supports powerful data modeling, encapsulation of data and processes within the data, inheritance of existing class behaviour through the means of sub-classing, and polymorphism (allowing different objects to respond to the same message) - while eliminating the need for performance-degrading o/r mapping.

In recent months, we have greatly extended our support for Java developers, providing numerous features and enhancements in our latest release, while also working with the leaders of the Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and Connected Data Objects (CDO) Model Repository projects to develop the Objectivity/DB data store.
