Objectivity, Inc. Named Sponsor of EclipseCon 2010
Company prepares release of distributed, scalable persistent object store technology via CDO (distributed shared Eclipse Modeling Framework) model. Organizations can more easily achieve enterprise level performance and scalability.
For Immediate Release:
Sunnyvale, CA -- March 3, 2010 -- Eclipse Foundation announced today that Objectivity, Inc., the leader in distributed, scalable data management technology, was named a sponsor of its popular conference, EclipseCon 2010, which will take place March 22-25, 2010 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
EclipseCon is the most important conference for Eclipse users, Java developers and numerous technology partners and vendors. The four day conference will feature keynote speakers, technical programs and an exposition area for vendors. Eclipse users will have the opportunity to interact with experts, industry professionals and vendors providing Eclipse-oriented information and services.
Objectivity is preparing to release its own Eclipse CDO Model Repository data store plugin for persisting the distributed shared Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) model. The Objectivity CDO Model Repository data store plugin will enable developers to easily integrate Objectivity/DB into their applications, to provide near real-time responses to complex queries. With Objectivity/DB's uniquely federated, distributed architecture, EMF users will also achieve ingest, analysis, performance and scalability capabilities that significantly outperform traditional data systems.
The Objectivity data store allows users to transparently persist EMF models to Objectivity/DB, a highly scalable federated object database. Model artifacts are persisted into the Objectivity store without any required mapping or specific annotation, and the store Schema is generated automatically based on the model elements. Additionally, model annotation could be used to control the placement of objects into the distributed federation.
Objectivity will also be exhibiting at the conference. Events attendees are encouraged to visit Objectivity and also see a demonstration of their new Objectivity EMF CDO. The company's representatives will be in Booth #14 of the exposition hall.
